Here’s the deal, we get stuck in our head often. Thoughts start running. You want to anticipate the future, you want to find the right answers, and you just want to figure it out.

And at some point, that becomes too much, too overwhelming to the point that it’s not serving you anymore. So when you’re stuck in your mind, what do you got to do to interrupt it? Instead of trying to figure something out?

Put yourself in your body. Do what you need to do to connect to your body. Connect to Earth. This is called grounding. When you’re in your head, do some grounding. How do you do grounding? Go for a run.

I don’t know, slap yourself in the face. Tap your body a few times. Create something that generates some heat in your body. Connect to your breath. Grab a weight and just lift it, I don’t know what you’re into, but find your favorite activity that puts you in your body and on Earth.

If you really get stuck in the mental domain, I promise you, after that, once you come back to it, you can solve your problems easier because you have interrupted the set and train. And now that you’re coming back into it, you have a more subjective point of view, and it’s easier for you to solve it that way.
